What does WorkMeter do for employees?
WorkMeter solutions help employees become aware of their own time management. To take responsibility, and offer them a way to understand and report working times effortlessly. Measuring relevant times and breaks allows awareness of how we use our time.
By promoting an objective culture of time self-management, companies trust workers more, allowing them to maintain and/or promote flexibility and teleworking policies, as it moves from an obsolete culture of surveillance and presenteeism to a modern environment of self-management, flexibility, and co-responsibility.
The product's own architecture and definition, which prevents excessive control functions by the company, and features such as digital health or digital disconnection, allow the company's initiatives to be applied to guide and care for the employee to make correct and healthy use of their working time. The TimeCoach feature guides the worker throughout their day to understand how their time management, concentration, or estimated leaving time progresses based on the relevant breaks they take. WorkMeter's solutions are designed to be a travel companion in the very important management of each individual's time.

How does WorkMeter guarantee employee well-being?
Caring for the well-being of companies and employees is our top priority.
Our solutions guarantee compliance with current telework, digital disconnection, and privacy regulations:

Eliminate the need for manual reporting
The working hours registration law requires employees to report their working times. WorkMeter ensures compliance with this regulation for companies, as working times and breaks are reported automatically.

Protect employee privacy
However, it does not read document or application contents, does not take screenshots, nor does it consider sites visited in incognito browsing; it only detects user interaction with the PC and their usage time.

Visibility and self-consumption
The worker always knows if the product is running and measuring.
The data is available for self-evaluation of their own performance and to optimize time management; reducing stress, anxiety, and increasing their security and commitment.

Friendly Measurement of Working Times
WorkMeter products accurately measure the start and end of the workday, relevant breaks, offering reasonable flexibility to avoid the feeling of living under a stopwatch. Short breaks are considered work time.

The employee can stop the report
The time report is automatic; however, the solution allows the employee to stop or activate the data report to account for their time whenever they wish.

Digital disconnection/Burnout limitation
Based on the length of the workday or holidays, the system notifies the worker that they should disconnect or recommends NOT answering emails outside of work hours. It prevents the employee from working more hours than agreed.

Promote health and prevent injuries
It calculates work and break times, allowing configuration of digital disconnection rules to notify the worker when they have been working on the PC for a long time or when they should end their workday, reducing lower back pain, carpal tunnel syndromes, and other injuries caused by working without breaks.

Promotes work flexibility
Measures the hours worked regardless of schedule, facilitating telework and flexible hours. It establishes an environment of trust and transparency with the
organization.

Productivity Map
For the most advanced product, the performance management software, the tool allows the company to define the productive applications and websites for each employee. The detail of the time spent on them is visible to each employee, and the company only has access to the measurement of the time spent on the applications defined as productive.
Vision / Summary
WorkMeter’s proposal is not only focused on modernizing the workplace but also on the individual and time management, promoting a culture of self-management and responsibility, deploying a friendly time measurement technology, fully automatic and fully transparent.
A companion for the worker that guides and helps them become aware and responsible for how to manage time, but at the same time with exquisite and rigorous respect for their privacy.
The start and end of the workday, relevant breaks, and ultimately, the effective activity of the workstation, are recorded automatically without the need for worker intervention. WorkMeter’s advanced technology even determines if the worker has completed their day on-site or via telework. Daily and cumulative data are shared transparently with the individuals themselves and the company, generating increased trust, transparency, and co-responsibility.
Both in positions where flexibility is present and in more on-site roles, there is a shift towards rigor and recognition, awareness, increased productivity, and improved occupational health, as the product itself alerts to excessive time without breaks or excessively long workdays.
Beyond all this individual impact, this modernization and digitization provide the organization with the opportunity to understand work dynamics, department overloads, and the impact of initiatives. Responsibility delegation is generated among middle management regarding compliance and productivity, and an increased level of trust greatly facilitates flexibility initiatives. All this while complying with current regulations.
WorkMeter’s clients are those organizations that want to modernize and improve to face the challenge of presenteeism, absenteeism, excessive work hours, productivity culture and transparency, flexibility or telework, and that bet on WorkMeter’s transparency model and its advanced automatic work time measurement technology.
WorkMeter saves time for managers and employees, promotes shared responsibility, increases productivity, and facilitates work-life balance, telecommuting, and flexibility.
It is not a bet on a product or technology. It is a vision of a better future for the digital workplace, which is applicable today with WorkMeter solutions.
